CATHY Plus I.V Cannula

Single-use, sterile, non-pyrogenic, and non-toxic Cathy I.V Cannulas comes with & without Injection port and safety features also. With the new VOLEX proprietary polymer, Cathy I.V. Cannulas make a technological leap into the future of medical care. Equipped with a short bevel ‘back’ cut point, the stainless steel needles offer seamless catheterization. It ensures smooth blood withdrawals and transfusions while cause minimal pain even in the most delicate of I.V. cannulation sites.

The Cathy + I.V. cannula incorporates an activated safety feature using the SIP CLIP protection device, which covers the needle tip during the extraction of the introducer needle. This safeguards healthcare workers from needlestick injuries during cannulation and disposal, offering an effective blood collection and infusion.

  • The Wings are made up of nontoxic, medical-grade polypropylene compatible with any medication. The injection port and the receiving end of the wing have a 6% luer taper as per ISO:80369.

  • The Needle is made from cold-rolled stainless steel strips. The tip of the needle has a short bevel ‘back’ cut point for easy catheterization and minimal pain and risk of perforation.
